Global warming is alive and well in Toronto

Ok. It’s February, right? Or did I fall asleep and miss a couple of months?
I just went outside for my daily walk, and it’s so warm, I had to peel off my coat and walk in t-shirt sleeves. And I was still working up a sweat! Today is supposed to break historic weather records. Winter has sure changed since the days of yore…

Last week…

Donna and Paul, So, where is the Bar B Q ?? And the patio chairs ? Unbelievable. We can thank the God above for the weather now, especially in February. Hope it is not an evil plan, but we all have to take the global warming as is. Great to hear from you. Laura and Jen will be making their way down here on March 19. Why, why, would they spend their money when it is so tropical in Markham ? Kidding, looking forward to seeing them when they arrive. A change is as good as a rest, and I know that Laura is really looking forward to doing nothing for a week. We will be talking soon, but in the meantime, retirement is absolutely wonderful !!! The way things are going this week, I’ll be seeing egrets and anhingas landing in the trees outside! haha
The tropics this week, the Arctic next—never a dull moment! 🙂
Just make sure the alligator doesn’t eat Jen while she’s down there. Then again, I’d get her condo…

Today the snow is drifting down as I write. I thought it was over! Don’t get too comfortable!
