With Colour A, ch 37.

Finishing:
You can seam pieces together with a yarn needle, or with your crochet hook and slip stitching, whichever way you prefer. My preference is to slip stitch pieces together with my crochet hook. Use Color A for seaming.

Doing one side at a time, place back and fronts with right sides together, and seam shoulders together from wrong side, starting from outer edge and working in to about 3”.

One at a time, and working from wrong sides, place sleeves as shown with middle of sleeve lined up with shoulder seam. Seam pieces together. Next, still working from wrong side, fold sleeve to create sweater shape, then starting at edge of sleeve, seam sleeve and keep going around underarm to start seaming together sides of sweater. Fasten off when you reach the bottom edge of the sweater, then repeat the process for the other side.

Once all seaming is complete, attach Color B to begin the edging. Start from either bottom corner of sweater, and work evenly spaced sc right around entire sweater so that you’re edging the bottom, up the front, around the neck and back down the other side. I just did one row of sc edging, but you can do another row, if you prefer.

I didn’t bother blocking it. I just gently steam pressed the seams with an iron.

Then, for a front fastening, instead of bothering with buttons, I just tied a piece of yellow ribbon midpoint on one side and pulled it through the other side, then tied it in a bow.
