…DUMPING THE ENTIRE CUP INTO YOUR LAPTOP KEYBOARD!!!
Yep. That’s exactly what I did a couple of weeks ago. I’ve always been as clumsy as the day is long, so I make a point of being extra-careful whenever I have liquids anywhere near my devices.
Except this time, when I bumped the table beside me, my full cup of coffee (with no lid on it) literally flew up into the air and landed upside down on top of my MacBook, which was on my lap. Every last drop drained into my keyboard.
I raced to the kitchen like a bat out of hell, holding the laptop upside down to drain over the sink while yelling every curse word in the English language. Once drained, I shut it down and raced it over to my awesome tech guy, who said he’d do his best to dry it out and clean it up, and we would hope for the best that I hadn’t fried it.
After a LOT of praying, I am so lucky to have my laptop back—good as new, thanks to my rock star tech guy, Phillip of Tomigi Computer Sales & Service in Markham, Ontario.
Anyway, I’m back online and hope to share some of the projects I’ve been working on in future posts. For now, here’s Otis, relaxing out in the front porch.
And here’s a silly joke that gave me a chuckle.
